Hey everyone; I've been working with Intel over the past month and successfully got Advanced Installer to work. I am going to have them beta test the app for me, but if it goes through, I am happily going to post the directions on how to use it. It isn't *that* hard, though I did spend a good 2-6 days just trying to get it all right.
To get this far, Advanced Installer puts 'junk' into the installer file and you must use Orca, a Microsoft scalpel, to cut it away. Generally, what I did was to make the executable less than 8 characters in length total (BPC.exe), then I compiled an installer using all silent settings (and only generating a desktop icon-- no icons were built under "All Programs" from the start menu), and then I used Orca to change shortcut->target from "[#BPC.EXE]" to "MainFeature".
That's it. If that is too quick, I am planning on releasing a video tutorial when I have the time showing how to go from a Unity3d game all the way to getting it on the App Up store.
Wish me luck guys!
